For my first practicum, I was assigned to a Grade One class at Juniper Ridge Elementary.  Even though I still want to pursue teaching the intermediate grades, I enjoyed every moment of my time with this class.  My teacher mentor was an expert with classroom management, and I learned many valuable tools from her.  I used many of these strategies during my subsequent work as a teacher on call when we were not in session at TRU.  I have attached the three required reflective journal assignments that accompanied our practicum session.
